Water Filters
SGS IBR provides testing of water filtration performance under a wide range of test conditions. These include flows up to 200 GPM, pressures up to 90 psig, pH between 3 and 10, and temperature range from 20°C and 100°C.
Additionally, to better simulate actual field conditions, contaminant challenges can be incorporated into the testing process.
Typical Applications Include:
- Drinking Water Filters
- Process Water Filters
- Coolant Filters
- Swimming Pool & Spa Filters
- Filters for parenteral drugs, cardiotomy
Testing of All Major Performance Areas:
- Retention efficiency as a function of particle size, from 0.1 – 500µm
- Capacity and throughput in a variety of contaminants
- Clean flow vs. pressure drop
- Clean fluid flow vs. pressure drop – in air, water, and simulated plasma and blood
- Testing per established ASTM, ISO, EN and NSF methods
